I have been wanting to write about this for a few days but couldn't think of a suitable song title then, in the bath this morning, I had an epiphany. Don't worry….I cleared it up.

In one of our motels we had an even more bewildering selection of television channels than usual…several hundred at least. I naturally zapped through to explore them and established that they were all rubbish but……hang on a minute……the Adult Toy Channel. Sure enough it was QVC but with dildos. We only watched for a few minutes but haven't laughed so much in a long time. The two presenters were both attractive women, one claiming to be a doctor and the other your standard shopping channel bimbo. The doctor would introduce each new toy and explain the many benefits of its bumps, vibrations and gyrations while the bimbo looked on, occasionally nodding and saying things like 'wow', 'that sounds great' and 'I MUST try that'. Laugh? We nearly shat.

We have not had a drop of rain since entering California but, despite it being sunny most of the time, temperatures have been lower than average – mid 60's typically. Today the thermostat has been turned up and it is already high 70's at 1pm. I like this a lot and am extracting full value from my chair, sitting in the sun, reading and writing this twaddle. Tonight we are in Solvang, otherwise known as little Copenhagen; both my roommate and I are a little prone to nocturnal flatulance so we probably WON'T go to the pea soup resteraunt!
