| TOUR de EAST ANGLIA | |
For those who
cannot spare the time for a full cycling holiday this is the perfect
fill-in. With a choice of dates in May and July this long weekend ride
through the beautiful FLAT countryside of Suffolk and Norfolk offers a
gentle pace, quiet country road scenic coastline.
After reaching the coast at Southwold we will follow the coastal route north, staying in the traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth on Friday night. From there we will continue north, following the Norfolk coast as far as Sheringham, where we will start to turn south-west towards Fakenham where we will stop of Saturday night. Our riding on Sunday will be due South, returning to Stowmarket late on Sunday afternoon. Average daily mileage will be 55-60 but with very flat terrain this ride is suitable for any regular cyclist.
