10th ANNIVERSARY
Amazingly, in 2010 Bike Adventures celebrates its 10th Anniversary, and to mark the occasion we are making this year's Spring Weekend a little bit special and a bit of a party.
The weekend is at Barton, near Preston on Friday 16th - Sunday 18th April 2010
We would like as many of you as possible to come (particularly those we haven’t seen for a while), and as a way of saying “Thank You” to our customers for your loyalty and friendship (as well as hopefully encouraging you to come), we will be holding a free raffle with a chance to win a Fully Supported Holiday of your choice.
We are very fortunate to have a number of regular customers, who, over the years, have been on a number of our holidays and we would like to show our appreciation of their loyalty and friendship by offering a free Fully Supported Holiday to those who have been on 7 or more trips, or a 50% discount to those who have been on 5 or 6 holidays. We have written to everybody that we think is entitled to the offer, but if you think you qualify and haven't heard from us please give Sarah a ring.

We are still currently updating the main holiday pages - hopefully these should be completed by the end of the month.
Prices for our 2010 INDEPENDENT HOLIDAYS should also be available by the end of October.

We are taking bookings for next summers holidays. We are currently offering a Discount of 5% OFF the price of
any FULLY SUPPORTED HOLIDAY booked before the end of January 2010 (or a discount of 10% if you came on holiday with us this year).
Discount applies to all members of your party. Simply return the booking form with a deposit of 20% of the total cost of the
holiday by 1st February 2009 to claim your discount. Discount applies to Fully Supported Holiday Tour Price only.
Flights, equipment hire, cycle transport, insurance etc are not included.

Our 2009 season is almost over - just Corsica and the 3 week Land's End to John O'Groats to complete. It's been a good year - we met alot of new faces (and caught up with some familar ones) & the weather was a little kinder to us on most trips this summer than it has been for a few years.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on a trip this year - we appreciate your support.
We are already working hard on next years programme (people seem to want dates for the following years trips earlier & earlier every year!) We have confirmed the dates for the Land's End to John O'Groats holidays (and the new John O'Groats to Land's End trip) and you will find them on the 2010 calendar.
We are taking provisional bookings for these holidays & single rooms are already going fast on the June & September trips. If you wish to reserve a place please send in a booking form (this years is fine) with a cheque for £100 as a deposit and we will hold a place for you. This deposit is fully refundable until we publish full details of the holiday (which should be by the end of October) - after this time our normal conditions will apply.
Dates for our other trips should be available by mid October.

CHANGE OF POSTAL ADDRESS
When we started Bike Adventures, we set up a post box to streamline deliveries. The Post Office
told us that our postal address was to be Slough SL5 8XT, although their own database had it as
Ascot. This sometimes causes delay, which the Post Office seem unable to fix. So we have
decided to change our postal address. It is now:

Letters sent to the old address will still reach us, but may take a day or two longer.

2009 SEASON
After a very successful 2008 season, our plans for 2009 are nearly complete. New tours
are a circular tour of the island of Ireland and a French 'Side to Side' from Basle
to Brest.
Other changes
for 2009:
The 'Bordeaux to Barcelona' tour will be hotel based, and there will be an additional
'St Malo to Caen' holiday, one camping and one using hotels. Following the established pattern,
the Raid Pyrenéen tour will be hotel based in 2009 and the Alpine trip will include a chance to see
a mountain stage of the 2009 Tour de France. In addition the Channel to the Med holiday next year will
have a choice of hotels or camping.
The calendar is now available, or can be downloaded as a PDF file.
The web site will be updated with full information over the next couple of weeks but in the meantime
if you require any information please contact the office.

EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT ENDS - MULTI TRIP DISCOUNT OFFERED
The early booking discount we were offering has ended. However anybody booking 2 or more holidays with us will receive a discount of 10% off the cost of the second holiday (or if you are really keen your 3rd and 4th holidays - and yes, just in case you are wondering, a few people do manage to do 3 or 4 trips with us each year!!).
Discount will apply if 2 or more holidays are booked together. If you have already booked one holiday it will automatically apply to any subsequent trips. Discount only applies to holidays taken in the same calender year, and to the Fully Supported Holiday Tour Price only. Flights, equipment hire, insurance etc are not included.

ADDITIONAL TRIP ADDED
Our advertised Mizen Head to Malin Head holiday is already full, and so we have added an additional trip. The Tour Ref and dates are: EE82: Sat 23rd August -
Mon 1st Sept 2008. This trip is already about half full.

BROCHURE and EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT

SUMMER SEASON
Our summer holidays have now started. We have just returned from Paris after a great
London to Paris trip. Thanks to those who took part - a great group. Some of our Fully
Supported Holidays are already fully booked - others are nearly full. So if you are
