A full passport is required for all trips outside of the UK, and it should
be valid for at least 6 months later than your planned return date.
The only country featured for which you will require a Visa is India. Please note that these details only apply to holders of British Passports. If you are not a British Citizen you should contact the nearest embassy of the relevant country to confirm entry requirements. | TRAVELLING ALONE
Where tours in this brochure include hotel accommodation the Tour Price is usually based on
shared twin rooms. If you are travelling by yourself, as many of our customers do, we'll
arrange for you to share with someone of the same sex. If you wish to have a room to yourself
then these are available in limited numbers on a most tours but a supplement is payable.

You should read the trip description carefully to ensure you are aware exactly what is
included in the Tour Price. Breakfast is always included but the number of other meals
varies. You need to ensure that you have allowed enough money for any meals not included,
as well as for drinks and snacks you want during the day, and the cost of any optional
excursions, souvenirs etc. Suggestions are given in the relevant Information Sheets, and
more detailed information on the amount of money you are likely to need is given in the

| INDEPENDENT HOLIDAYS
On these trips please be aware that due to the large number of establishments we deal with
we cannot guarantee to meet every accommodation request, particularly at busy periods. The
establishments are often small, with a variety of rooms, and as such we may have to make use
of a less than ideal room on occasions. We also have limited control over the rooms allocated
to you, and you should be aware of the need for a certain amount of flexibility before
booking on a trip such as this. |

WARNING Cycling is a potentially dangerous activity in which accidents can occur, and all persons participating in a tour do so at their own risk. Local conditions in many of the countries in which we operate are very different from those in the UK, and you should be aware that levels of hygiene, operational and safety standards and health facilities may not be the same as in the west and this can cause inconvenience and discomfort. In addition standards of service, bureaucracy, outdated facilities and even plumbing may also not what you would expect at home, but these usually just cause annoyance and frustration. However good our organization there are certain things that we cannot control, and for this reason the itineraries outlined are statements of intent rather than promises. You should be aware that the weather, politics, road conditions, transport and numerous other factors can all mean an unplanned change in itinerary. On our Supported Tours it will be up to the Tour Leader to decide on the best course of action to deal with the situation should something unexpected occur, and although we will do everything in our power to minimize the effects of any enforced changes, we cannot be held responsible for the results of any changes or delays, irrespective of how they were caused, and you must be prepared to accept this. On the Independent Holidays you must be prepared to resolve any difficulties on your own. In most of the countries we visit crime levels are generally no worse than in the UK, however if you loose something like your passport while abroad, the consequences are much worse than if you are at home. You should therefore ensure that you take sensible precautions to safeguard yourself and your belongings. |
